Monthly Giving
To support the Woody Guthrie Center with recurring donation, sign up for our monthly giving program. As a sustaining supporter, the amount of your choice will be donated each month to Woody Guthrie Center via Friends of American Song Archives. Wire Transfers
The Woody Guthrie Center accepts gifts made through electronic funds transfer. Please contact Jessica McKenzie to receive transfer instructions and to notify us of the amount and designation of your gift.
Stock Gifts
Donating appreciated securities held for more than one year entitles you to a charitable income tax deduction for the full market value of the shares on the date of your gift. Donors of appreciated securities avoid capital gains taxes and may use their income-tax deduction up to 30% of adjusted gross income with a five-year carryover. Consult your financial adviser to determine whether donating a stock gift is the right giving option for you.

Gifts From Your IRA
If you are 70 1/2 or older, you are eligible to make tax-free contributions to Friends of American Song Archives, Inc. for the benefit of Woody Guthrie Center from your IRA or other qualified retirement plan (e.g., pension funds, 401k, 403b, etc). The donation counts towards your Required Minimum Distribution or RMD (the IRS-determined minimum amount you must withdraw from your account each year). To learn more, consult your individual plan administrator and ask for a beneficiary designation form.
Tribute & Memorial Gifts
You may want to consider a tribute or memorial gift to Woody Guthrie Center via Friends of American Song Archives as a way to honor or remember someone special in your life. Matching Gifts
