About the Film
The film, directed by Jim Bidgood, captures rare footage from a night at The Gallery in 1977. Alongside The Loft and Paradise Garage, Nicky Siano’s Manhattan club was central to the rise of disco in the 1970s. “I feel as if I have worked my entire career for this moment,” says Siano, who features in the film alongside The Loft founder David Mancuso and Frankie Knuckles. — Resident Advisor
