Join us at the Woody Guthrie Center on Saturday, Aug. 10, at 6 p.m. for “Joe Hill: Alive As You and Me,” an evening dedicated to the legacy of Joe Hill, a songwriter and labor activist who was executed in 1915 under controversial circumstances. This multi-media event, featuring actor and folk singer Tom Kastle, will bring to life Hill’s enduring songs and story, from his contributions to the International Workers of the World to Joan Baez’s iconic performance of “I Dreamed I Saw Joe Hill Last Night” at Woodstock. Don’t miss this opportunity to celebrate the life and work of one of labor’s most enduring champions.
