ABOUT WRITTEN QUINCEY

Written Quincey

Originally from College Hill, Cincinnati, OH, Written Quincey has called Tulsa, OK, home for over the past decade. A visionary with a creative lens through artistic expression, this gentleman capitalizes on favor and skill to enhance one of the world’s most ancient forms of literature.

A father, activist, musician, educator and visual artist, Written’s perspective led to founding the Cypher120: Experience which is responsible for the urban musical, visual, literary and artistic renaissance in Tulsa. A 2018 TedxUniversity of Tulsa Fellow and Motown recording artist, Written Quincey strives to use his artistry to impact his local and global community. Quincey holds a Masters of Arts in Social Justice and in addition to performing poetry nationally, he teaches Creative Writing and Social Studies.
