Join us for a collaborative event with Whitty Books during Tulsa LitFest on Sunday, April 21, from 1-2 p.m. at the Woody Guthrie Center. This engaging activity is open to participants of all ages, inviting them to explore the art of blackout poetry. Taking place in the “Children of Grass” exhibition gallery, attendees can unleash their creativity by removing parts of an original text, leaving behind carefully chosen words and phrases to craft their own unique poetry.
This interactive session provides a platform for individuals to share their creations from the stage if they choose. Selected artwork will be showcased in the lobby of the Woody Guthrie Center, allowing participants to contribute to the vibrant literary and artistic community fostered by Tulsa LitFest.
