Join us at the Woody Guthrie Center on Sept. 26 at 6 p.m. for an inspiring book talk with renowned journalist and author Kim Kelly, whose work resonates with the same passion for social justice and the working class that defined Woody Guthrie’s legacy. Kim will discuss her book, “Fight Like Hell: The Untold History of American Labor,” as well as share exciting plans for her upcoming work, “Exquisite Strangers,” which explores the political and cultural history of disabled sideshow performers. This event is free for Woody Guthrie Center members and $5 for the general public. Don’t miss this chance to hear from a modern leading voice who carries forward Guthrie’s fight for a fairer world.
Copies of “Fight Like Hell” will be available for purchase at the event. This event is presented in partnership with Whitty Books.
