The Woody Guthrie Center will present “Bringing It All Back Home: A Journey to ‘A Complete Unknown.'” This talk will give a history of the Woody Guthrie Center and Bob Dylan Center’s involvement with Searchlight Pictures during the research and filming of the Hollywood movie, “A Complete Unknown.” Presenters Sam Flowers and Quinn Carver Johnson—both Guest Services Managers at the centers—will share insights about the story the film interprets, including Bob Dylan’s meeting with Woody Guthrie, and what Hollywood got right (and wrong). Finishing out the presentation will be a series of videos that show how that historical event is presented at both centers.
