There have been so many exciting things going on at the Woody Guthrie Center, and the next couple of months will just add more! We were honored to be the host location for an early education summit that included Secretary Hillary Clinton and Sesame Street President and CEO H. Melvin Ming.
The days following we had more than 50 Red Dirt musicians filming and recording a music video in the Fly Loft to encourage Oklahomans to sign up for Affordable Healthcare. We were thrilled to have so much music surrounding us!
Then we followed all that excitement with the announcement of our next special exhibit, Bruce Springsteen: A Photographic Journey, a new traveling exhibit curated by the GRAMMY Museum that will premier at the WGC opening night on April 29. All the featured photographers will be on site for the opening and a round-table discussion after the opening reception. You won’t want to miss this!
Immediately following the exhibit opening, we’ll be hosting our first anniversary celebration with programs and music all weekend. The Brady Arts District and the Woody Guthrie Center are the places to be!
